'100' Members, Doctors, Employees Served More Than 2,000 Community Members at the 2008 Minority Men's Health Fair
The Cleveland Clinic's Minority Men's Health Center, United Pastors in Mission and the 100 Black Men of Greater Cleveland, Inc. led the first ever "Walk to Better Health" as a way to increase health awareness among men in the community.

Among the '100' members in attendance and leading the well attended walk were '100' member Rodney L. Brown, Chair, Marketing/PR Committee, '100' member Earl Williams, Rev. Sam Tidmore, Charles Modlin, M.D., Chair, Health and Wellness Committee and Director, Minority Men's Health Center, and '100' member Tony R. Diggs.
More than 2,000 men - including Reggie Rucker, a former Cleveland Browns player, and Campy Russell, a former Cavs player - attended Cleveland Clinic's sixth annual Minority Men's Health Fair on Thursday, April 10. Attendees were invited to receive more than 35 free screenings and 130 opportunities to get free health information for prostate cancer, diabetes, HIV, kidney disease, depression and other conditions. 55 Cleveland Clinic departments/Institutes and 75 Community Organizations participated in the Healthfair. In addition, participants benefited from nutrition health talks and free consultations with physicians in "Ask the Doctor" sessions. There were over 350 volunteers collaborating to make this event a great success.
